Berlin’s Riot Grrrls 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN Share Brand New Single, “Potface”, From Upcoming Debut Album “Stress”!
March 19th, 2021 will see Berlin- based grunge rock and noise punk trio 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN release their hotly anticipated debut album, “Stress”, through Noisolution. And hell yes, this is how punk should sound in 2021!
Musically, 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN crosses the references of Punk, Noise, Grunge into the Riot Grrrl sound of the 90’s, with a loud and clear message. Feminism, inequality, homophobia, racism, xenophobia or ecological problems are important issues to the band – but never without a good dose of having fun. These ladies manage this balanced act in an impressive and charismatic way: Bringing up a serious matter with a laugh. Holding up the mirror and write your opinion on it but with a lipstick. 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN’s music nails it, and maybe it’s also the perfect soundtrack in these current times, to be wild, loud, angry and yet surrounded by a lot of glitter. “Stress” is a behemoth of a rock album between the grunge, alternative rock and punk, between fuzzy and heavy as hell riffs, backed up by catchy hooks and big melodies. It’s a confident, snotty pop album where punk attitudes meet glamour!
After the band recently unleashed a hilariously brilliant music video to their first single “Bitter Lollipop”, they have just released a new song, the album opening track “Potface”. Says vocalist & guitarist Kat:

24/7 DIVA HEAVEN is not just a new band name with a killer debut album that will blow your face off, 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN came to stay and they mean it. With their highly acclaimed, 2018- debut EP “Superslide”, the Riot Grrrls left a first and remarkable stamp in the heavy music scene, while a steady growing fanbase and countless shows such as the high- voltage performances at festivals alike Desertfest Berlin, Stoned From The Underground or the Popkultur Festival should follow.
Bassist Karo Paschedag, Mary Westphal (drums) and Katharina Ott-Alavi (guit / voc) are also heavily active aside of their rehearsal room and rocking the stage, and show themselves politically. They are the founders of the Berlin GRRRL NOISY movement, an ever growing institution and a place to connect, for female and transgender musicians and music fans, setting up concerts, jam sessions, video streams or discussion platforms.
Their upcoming first full-length “Stress” was recorded and mixed during the Fall of 2020 by René Hofmann at the Wasted Life Studio in Darmstadt, Germany, and was mastered by Pascal Stoffels. The album will be available as LP, CD and in Digital formats on March 19, 2021 via Noisolution.
