BAND-MAID, an impossibly hard rocking maid band, has cancelled their upcoming BAND-MAID ZEPP TOUR in Japan, but will hold a “new style of performance” at the mighty Nippon Budokan on 11 February 2021 (National Foundation Day). The band has also announced plans to release live videos on YouTube.
A statement on BAND-MAID’s homepage regarding the live videos reads, “Time goes on where we cannot see everyone, but we will be happy if you keep your hopes up a little more”. The first BAND-MAID live video to be released is of “onset“, an instrumental track recorded during the WORLD DOMINATION TOUR at ZEPP TOKYO on 13 April 2018, with more planned for release.
BAND-MAID’s latest album CONQUEROR, which entered the UK’s official rock charts upon release, was released outside of Japan from JPU Records. The CD edition from the label includes a 28 page booklet containing English lyric translations and Romaji lyric transliterations.
