Face Off is premiering the video for “Machine“, a single of theupcoming EP which is set to drop on the 18th of September.
“Machine” is a blurred reality representation of an entity’s thoughts. Coexisting in one’s mind, two waves collide; a dominant, repressive being holding the strings and the suppressed one needing to be released, while gasping for air trying to get their own life back.
“Machines” EP is Face Off’s upcoming release and is the successor to the outfit’s previous album – Massive from 2017. It revolves around an auditory concept of doomy and ethereal tones that create dream-like soundscapes and gradually converge into heavy, slow-paced dronesque pulses of down-tuned guitars.
While at its core a post-metal atmospheric three-piece, Face Off acted as a duo conceiving this release:
Marija Vitasovic – Whispers, Lyrics
Stefan Vitasovic – Music, Guitars, Bass, FX
“Machines” was mixed by Chris Edrich (FOH engineer for Leprous, The Ocean, Agent Fresco, Tesseract, Klone, Kadinja…) and mastered by Pierrick Nōel at Atelier Mastering.
Video was created by Lutfi Firmansyah.
