New album and a new music video by Finland’s eeriest garage psych rockers Seremonia out on Friday!
Neonlusifer is the fifth album by Finland’s greatest and eeriest heavy psych outfit Seremonia. The band’s latest wonderfully weird outing of dark psychedelia, Pahuuden äänet, came out in 2016.
After a lengthy recording hiatus, Neonlusifer offers a highly addictive version of Seremonia‘s trademark freak rock, opening several new doors of perception.
Väärä valinta kickstarts Seremonia’s new album, Neonlusifer. A hard-rolling heavy rocker with cranky fuzz riffing, wailing garage organ and a cautionary tale about choosing death.
Inspired by Deluxe-era Xysma, the first Dead End 5 album and the endless horror vacuum of modern everyday life, Väärä valinta is a prime example of Seremonia‘s core duality. No-holds-barred heavy rock pounding and melancholy atmosphere in perfectly off-kilter harmony.

Fading and spacing out shortly after the 35-minute mark, Seremonia‘s new album is an exceptionally tight package of heavy psych.
While it certainly means a lot of hot fuzz riffs and catchy choruses, Seremonia would not be Seremonia without their fearless free form psychedelic experiments.
So, somewhere between Neonlusifer‘s uptempo earworm rock tracks you’ll find a slow burning free improv song about deep cosmic depression, drenched in haunted mellotron strings and beautifully melancholic flutes.
