LA-based electro-pop darling, Tishmal, has released her next single, “Bed of Roses,” which is out everywhere today. Stream across all services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and more, here.

The timely single, released right before Valentine’s Day, follows the success of her singles with Marc Benjamin and Kaskade, both of which were released last year, and continue to rapidly gain streams.

On the single, musician Rachel Brockbank shares, “’Bed of Roses’ exists on the edge of a perfect love story; it could either be a happy ending, or a total disaster. We are often swept up in the mystery and magic of a new relationship. ‘Bed of Roses’ is about the moment you realize you’re high on love – maybe too high – and you can’t see the ending yet.”

Tishmal” is the debut solo project of Rachel Brockbank. Tishmal means “hummingbird” in Luiseño, the language of her Native American heritage. The name was given to her as a young girl, around the same time she began to write music. Tishmal’s star is rapidly rising opening dates for big names like CHVRCHES, Zara Larsson, The Aces, Hippie Sabotage, and XYLØ. Her brand of brooding, intelligent pop is finding a home with fans of other female powerhouses like Lorde and Tove Lo. Ending 2020 on a high, Tishmal featured on Marc Benjamin’s dance hit “Blinded By Your Light” as well as doing an exclusive live session with All Saints. Tishmal will be reaching new heights in spring of 2021, releasing original music in collaboration with producer Christian Medice (P!nk, Hilary Duff).
