NEVICATE – music video for “The Surface”, out today

Nevicate‘s new music video will give you the creeps: An intimidating tale of mental instability  Nevicate is a metal group from Joensuu that combines symphonic orchestration with a bunch of electronic pop and even dance music elements. Their recent music video for the song called “The Surface” was released on September 13th.   Musically speaking “The Surface” is a versatile piece with its progressive guitar riffs, electronic elements, peaceful orchestral composition and its alternating vocal parts between emotional screaming and soulful melodic clean vocals. Nevicate also represents their local roots by showcasing the national instrument of Finland, the kantele, gently glued into the heavy background. “The Surface” is a story of a shaky balance among the opposites of one’s mind.   Nevicate released their first single “Shattered” at the end of 2017, and was received well by the public. “The Surface” is the second official release from the band. The video production is carried out by the Karelian University of Applied Sciences.  The music video of “The Surface” can be watched on YouTube.  BIOGRAPHY …
