Mallavora Sonic Evolution Across Four Tracks

Opening with the thunderous single “It’s Not Enough,” the EP explores themes of anxiety and control. Vocalist Jessica Douek shines, her haunting cleans giving way to ferocious screams that underscore the track’s desperate tone. This intensity shifts with “Skin”, which adopts a more melodic, rock-oriented sound. While still heavy, it introduces a groove-driven rhythm contrasting sharply with the EP’s opener.

“Vultures” then returns to the aggressive alt-metal style of “It’s Not Enough,” carrying sharp riffs and relentless energy. The final track, “Echoes,” begins with a deceptively tender, slow build before exploding into the band’s signature dynamic sound, providing a reflective yet powerful conclusion to the EP.
